I read your Blog Spot and saw red lights last night as well, but in California.
I do not believe in UFOs since I have never seen any. I am not against the idea and I am open to evidence. I have some now. See attached photos I took. I had the camera out because I was just taking photos of the moon.

On Saturday at 11:37 p.m. along the coast at Los Angeles International Airport and Marina Del Rey, the wife and I were sitting on the couch when we saw a group of what we at first thought must be a group of helicopters with bright red lights on them flying in formation.
Unlike most people, we have a fantastic 180 degree view of the sky and watch the planes come and go out of LAX at all times.
We hear the planes and helicopters all the time and see them everyday. What we saw flew right into the LAX flight path and over the entrance to the Marina. No reports in the news of a hoax or anything else in a very heavily watch airspace at the third busiest airport in the United States.

They did not blink at all. They were moving up the coast coming towards us and were extremely bright. Much brighter than any plane or helicopter I have ever seen and going the wrong way in front of LAX. LAX traffic stopped while this was happening. Then we can see one catching up.
When two started to move around each other, it was clear no helicopter group would move up and down and around each other like that. Then they changed directions and went up and then they started shutting off lights as they rose straight up toward the moon and I could not see them.

One stayed low and continued away towards Loyola Marymount University. I could still see it with my 12 X 50 high powered binoculars. It was like a black circle, it looked like two or three circles like it was rolling three balls glued together. I lost it over the swamp as the fog was rolling into Playa Vista.
I drove to the wharf because we also saw a bunch of police cars on the other side of the Marina. I drove up to them and asked them "Did you see the flares over the Marina a few minutes ago? The group of about 5 officers said nothing, one said "we did not see anything". They did not ask each other. They did not ask me where and if I wanted to file a report.

I think they saw them and realized very quickly that they should not talk about it.
The fact is:
1. - They moved up and down and in formation and reversed direction (flares do not change direction and circle each other)
2. - Three lights turn off all at once then one at a time afterwards. (can not be flares and flares are not bright enough)
3. - Who would drop 5 flares at high altitude in the LAX flight path with remote controls for ignition and the ability to go up rapidly and circle each other? (highly regulated airspace)
4. - They also parked for a few seconds to wait for the 5th one to catch up (not a vehicle that needs lift)
5. - Too fast, too high and too far of range for civilian remote control helicopter
6. - No noise (helicopters and planes make noise)
7. - No blinking lights (al other stuff has blinking lights)
8. - Government test aircraft? (not likely they would test them in front of the 3rd largest airport for safety reason)
9. - Hoax (cant wait to see that again, great trick especially when they flew up rapidly toward high altitude while one went down to just above sea level.)
